Beliefs
We affirm the Nicene & Apostles Creed.
We respect Christian tradition and recognize that we are one church within the Church across time.
Simplified: we aren’t trying to do anything new.
-
We believe that the Bible is inspired by God, and therefore has authority on which it speaks. The Bible leads us into all truth. (Romans 15:4, John 1:1-4)
-
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God - second person of the Trinity and equal with God the Father. He lived a sinless life as fully man and fully God, then died on a cross as the penalty for our sins and rose from the dead to defeat sin, death, evil and ascended to the right hand of the Father.
(John 17:21-22, John 8:58) -
We believe in eternal life only through the power of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. God initiates salvation and we respond in faith.
(John 14: 6, Ephesians 2:6-9)
